Drain Relining Service

County Drains uses no-dig technology or drain relining, which is often the fastest and most cost-effective way to repair a damaged drain or sewer. It involves installing a lining which bonds to the inside of the pipe, so restoring the integrity of the drain or sewer with minimum disruption.

How Drain Relining Works

If there is a structural problem within the drain, there are two main options for repairing it. The first is by excavating it for repair and the second is by using no-dig technology or drain relining to fix it.

Drain relining is the most common type of no-dig technology. We impregnate a sock-like material with resins and use air inversion to insert it into the drain. The resins react together, eventually hardening and sealing the drain. This process covers holes, cracks and fractures within the pipe, as well as open, displaced joints and root intrusion. By repairing the drain this way, it seals the pipe and also improves the structural integrity of the drain at the same time.
